This project was completed in collaboration with Tan. We contributed equally across concept, branding, and packaging. I focused on pattern development, packaging design, and physical prototyping, while Tan developed the logo, icons, and copy. AI was used only for final renderings.
Color Palette & Patterns
The identity uses jewel-toned colors paired with gold detailing to balance warmth and luxury. Patterns are derived from the form and movement of the ducks, translating small details like feathers and feet into a cohesive visual language.

Duck Icons
These duck logos bring a playful charm to the hotel and are inspired by the ducks that live on the Peabody’s rooftop.
These animated assets would be used for digital media such as promotional showcases, app loading screens, and brand-user interactions. Each one is labeled for use cases such as dining rooms and error screens.

Assorted Chocolate Duck
This packaging draws from the daily duck march, where the sleeve structure mimics the movement of the ducks guided by the Duckmaster. The final chocolate bears a top hat, referencing the Duckmaster, while the names reference the original Duckmaster’s (Pembroke), the Peabody’s original hotel names (Peabody, Chisca, Gayoso), and the city of Memphis.
Water & Flavored Water
The water bottles emphasize the Peabody’s luxury through form and material. A consistent deep blue unifies the system, while accent colors differentiate flavors and maintain visual interest.

Duck Days Tea
The tea box is a modified gravity feeder that can be opened from the side through perforation or from the top, allowing it to function both in-room and at the hotel’s breakfast bar.
The ducks are used as a central storytelling element, creating moments that feel both elegant and playful while reinforcing the hotel’s identity.
